Katherine Ackland is back with us again we’re excited to say!
Her exhibition Aviary focuses on interior spaces, landscape and the lyrical intertwining of flora and fauna which provide the framework for the paintings and drawings in this exhibition.
She says that, “The works are vividly coloured, intensely patterned and lavishly painted. The palette is of colour and complexity of pattern. While the works on paper provide a more intimate experience for the viewer, and the imagery becomes more iconic. The paintings are vibrant, humorous and celebratory of the landscape that surrounds us.”
