'We believe South West Rocks is a more interesting and engaging place for our residents and visitors with our Gallery in it.  Our members are the financial foundation of our organisation.'

Our membership base is really important to us, as we are not-for-profit and run by volunteers our membership base provides the financial foundation of the gallery and is essential to ensure our ongoing success.

Exhibiting Artist Membership

If you would like to exhibit with us, you will need to become an Exhibiting Member.

This gives you the opportunity to exhibit in our group exhibitions held at least 3 times a year (4 pieces per exhibition).  From time to time we also have special themed exhibitions which you will be invited to join.  This gives you ample opportunity to participate in exhibitions without having an individual show.  You will also need to have a current Exhibiting Membership to hire a room for an exhibition.

This membership level includes membership of the Macleay Valley Arts Council (MVAC) which provides you with personal liability insurance cover when you are volunteering in the gallery.

Ideal for casual visitors to the gallery who wish to support our continued success.

Supporting the Gallery by Volunteering

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the gallery.

Please make contact if you'd like to volunteer.  Opportunities to participate in exhibition set up and to staff the gallery are available.  If you'd like to do a regular shift but are concerned about an ongoing regular commitment clashing with holidays etc, don't be, we will manage that. Or a more casual or back up position may suit you better which may only require a few hours a month.

All members receive regular newsletters and invitations to events.
