My works express a love of the natural environment and a desire to conserve it. I am a colourist and find connection with our beautiful Mid North Coast through a variety of vibrant mediums including oil, acrylic, ink and pencil.
I use our native flora and fauna as inspiration to recreate the unique natural beauty which makes up Australia. From the Snowy Mountains through the desert to the sea I find beauty. I use a variety of mediums to capture my subject matter. For landscapes I prefer oils so I can mix and layer the colour. For flora I choose ink pen to accentuate the dramatic shape and form and for birds I like the precision of coloured pencils.
