Halia is a local artist, who has recently moved to Port Macquarie, she creates quirky sculptures using a range of different coloured clays. Each of her sculptures is a unique one of a kind piece. She has a life long interest in the arts and design, from life drawing with ink and charcoal, to the design of residential and commercial buildings.
Halia’s career has been in Risk Management and she finds working with clay a welcome contrast to her day to day corporate life.
Jennifer Hetherington is an Australian author and artist who holds a degree from Griffith University in Communications (Creative Writing and Screen Studies).
Her works reflect, with both text and illustration, the coastal countryside of Northern NSW where she grew up. After decades involved in the textile industry as a designer, manufacturer and educator, Jen has returned to her love of the creative arts, primarily as a writer and illustrator of poetry and short stories. Jens second collection of published works, titled 'Crosswords', will feature in upcoming exhibitions.
