Colleen’s art practice started a decade and a half ago when her mother (a fine artist) gave her a few cursory pointers.
Apart from this, she is self taught and has spent most of her years painting both abstract and very detailed representational works.
More recently she has embarked on a new journey, drawing and illustrating using pencil and sometimes ink and embracing two very different styles. Exquisitely detailed works of the rain forest she so loves, and making people giggle and smile with her gorgeous pelican illustrations.
