Suzanne Li, a self taught Australian Artist, was born in 1958 in Condobolin, a small farming town in mid western NSW. Though born in the Central West, most of her growing years were spent in the Riverina region of NSW, along the banks of the Murrumbidgee river. Much of her adult life was spent in Cairns, far north Queensland raising a family and running a busy restaurant. During this time Suzanne and her family also spent a wonderful year living in Hong Kong.
Throughout her life though her constant companion has been her pencils and sketch pad that were never far from reach.
This exhibition showcases Suzanne's distinctive style which is greatly inspired by the picturesque Australian landscape and expresses the subjects with great attention to detail. She loves to portray the birds and animals in the bush, and more recently she has tried her hand at still life.
