Indiana Teerman is a Dunghutti artist from South West Rocks, NSW. Her work explores themes of culture, healing, resilience and connection to Country, drawing inspiration from community, family and lived experience.
Living with fibromyalgia has shaped both her creative practice and perspective, teaching her to embrace creativity as a source of strength, reflection and wellbeing. Through painting and functional art, Indiana creates vibrant works that tell stories of connection, belonging and perseverance.
Inspired by the landscapes and stories of the Mid North Coast, her artwork celebrates the strength found in culture, community and the ability to keep moving forward through life’s challenges. Indiana hopes her work encourages reflection, connection and a deeper appreciation for the stories that unite us.
